2IC of a unit at CHT took initiative and made a plan to install Pedrollo water pump at one of the camps. So he had to call the JCO staying at rear in Ctg Cantt over HF wireless set. As you know due to interference HF set does not allow clear conversation. Now following conversation took place:
2IC: Hello, JCO Sub you take the pick up and go to Ctg town and search for a good Pedrollo pump. Do not take much of time. Come back before launch and let me know the price. Did you get me?
JCO: Yes sir. I got your mind. I am just going out and I would let you know the price.
2IC was waiting but got really annoyed when JCO sub did not come back to cantt at 1600 hours even. Finally he came back to Cantt at 1630 hrs. Following conversation took place again:
2IC: Where had you been so long?
JCO: Sir I was searching a lot but could find any seller who agrees to sell their pump.
2IC: what?
JCO: Yes sir it is true. Finally I got a person who was agreed to sell a pump.
2IC: What are you telling? How much price he asked for?
JCO: Not much. Only 60 Lacs taka.
2IC: Are you making fun with me. One PEDROLLO PUMP cost 60 Lacs taka?
JCO: No sir. It is really cheap. Normally one PETROL PUMP costs more than 80 lacs. If you tell I should just buy it now.
